The imagination of ‘Spliffy on the Liffey’ is stepping into a moment of the time with a person who sees through the facade of the two sides of Dublin City.
 
With a puff of a Spliffy on the river Liffey, he enters into meditation, as the omniscient viewer of the slim crooked river that separates a luxe life from the side of the bare minimum, while a fragile bridge connects the two, reminding us of the frivolous things that create concrete separations in the first place. 
 
The chaotic style of hand illustrations is meant to bring out the differences mentioned, pop-culture elements of harley-quinn and air jordan’s speak to 90’s audience now in their 20s. The artwork has an overall y2k flavour to it, all while visually representing the narrative of real-life satire.
